India had deployed its aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant, to the northern Arabian Sea on April 23.
Amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and India, the Pakistan Navy’s vigilant operations reportedly forced an Indian aircraft carrier to retreat from near Pakistani waters, Express News reported.
Security sources claim that in reaction to the recent escalation between the two nations, India sent its aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant, to the northern Arabian Sea on April 23.
However, the Indian vessel was withdrawn after the Pakistan Navy patrolled the area consistently and successfully. After a few days at sea, the INS Vikrant returned to the Indian port of Karwar, according to satellite images.
Given the shaky ties between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, the deployment and subsequent withdrawal underscore the region’s increasing military posture. Regarding the alleged redeployment, neither India nor Pakistan have made any formal statements.
